The Intruder 1sunglass features advanced technology Photochromic Day / Night clear lenses that change to dark gray. These lenses are clear when you are inside and turn progressively darker when you are exposed to the sun's rays outside. Photochromic lenses eliminate the need for one sunglass for daytime and one for nighttime. Normally, many bikers have to purchase two sunglasses; one with dark lenses and one with clear lenses. Sports people in general like the Photochromic lenses so they don't have to change lenses as the sunlight level changes. Photochromic lenses at this price are somewhat unique to our brand.
The Intruder 2, Intruder 3, Intruder 4 sunglasses give a soothing effect with Polarized ultra-comfortable lenses on these models. Polarization filters out the scattered sun rays that bounce off of reflective objects, such as water and chrome that cause eye irritation. This is an expensive added bonus that most sunglasses in this price range do not offer.
The entire Intruder product line of sunglasses is designed with Polycarbonate (PC) lenses, which are absolutely necessary for bikers and sports enthusiasts. These lenses are made out of shatter resistant material to protect your eyes should something impact the lenses. Most of the lower priced sunglasses do not have PC lenses and you can get eye damage if a rock or other object smashes into the lenses.
…the Cross Thread Military Style conventional/strap-on Sunglasses or Kit w/ Anti-Fog Clear or Yellow Lenses
The Silver Metallic Model with Gray Polycarbonate (PC) lenses or spare Clear and Yellow Anti-Fog lenses (available as an add-on purchase for low light conditions) are available. Polycarbonate lenses are standard design and considered by OutLaw Eyewear to be mandatory for motorcycle, bike riding, or any kind of sports and outdoor use that requires eye protection.
These sunglasses come standard with conventional sunglass arms that you can remove to attach a strap for a, "Super Goggles mode.” This model works and looks just like a sunglass when the arms are on, and are super cool looking, and block the wind out really well. When you attach the strap, it transforms into a super high performance goggle for going Mach 1 on your bike.
This product line is also available with a deluxe protective case/kit that holds the glasses, strap, cleaning cloth, and 2 sets of spare lenses.
